Comment / Ever present, G-THOO continues to ply her trade out of Newcastle...

Comment / Another Jet2 Boeing 757 roars away from Newcastle's runway 25, this time destination Arrecife, Lanzarote. G-LSAA was first delivered in the summer of 1987 as G-BNSF to Air Europe.

Comment / Arriving at Newcastle from Copenhagen, flying in this basic SAS colour scheme.

Comment / It's great to see the Emirates A330s in at Newcastle every day - they sure are a step up from those Eastern Jetstream 41s, and the tiddlers of the Northumbria Flying School!

Comment / As far as I can make out, F-GRZA is the only Brit Air aircraft to fly in the airline's own (now old) livery. The rest of the fleet is painted up in Air France colours, for whom Brit Air does most of its flying.

Comment / Returning to Newcastle after her first sortie of the day, down to London Stansted and back.

Comment / Seconds from touchdown as the sun sets behind a low bank of cloud.

Comment / Final approach for runway 25 at a sunny Newcastle, from Dublin.

Comment / I used to bump into this Fokker 100 all the time at Stansted during the 90s; PH-OFI is the ex. G-UKFI of the late Air UK. She's still yet to be repainted into the new KLM livery, but looks smart nonetheless as she approaches Newcastle's runway 25 at sunset.
